Katie Houts

Katie Houts is a Midwest native who brings over two decades of experience in leading children's choirs and teaching developing voices. Katie is the Sacred Choral and Curriculum Editor for Choristers Guild, a non-profit music education and publishing house based in Dallas, TX. She is a sought-after children’s choral clinician, presenter, composer, and studio accompanist. In addition to RUCC and Choristers Guild, Katie teaches lower elementary music at Wasatch Charter School and directs their fifth and sixth grade choirs. She also currently serves on the faculty for the Choristers Guild Institute and is a member of the ACDA National Standing Committee for Composition Initiatives.
Katie and her husband live in Salt Lake City with their three kids and can be found enjoying great local restaurants, live theater, and skateparks.
